This narrative is dumb. Jalen is finally finishing at the rim & making shots. That's really all it is. You could argue that it's because he has more space, but the Sengun-Green pairing should work. I would be in no rush to trade one of the best young big men in the NBA.

who's saying there's a rush. one day we'll have to choose. we'll have pay amen, cam, smith, and eason too. why would you say its dumb? we'll get the most assets back in picks or rookies contracts back for sengun and we can keep the rest of our studs. we know tilman aint paying no tax. its not like we'd have to trade sengun tomorrow. we could trade him right before his next contract or trade him right after we ink him to an extension.

either way, if we don't trade him, we're probably losing one or two of our other young studs. we're going to have to choose at some point.

green is playing his way to a max contract now.

Most of the year it was trade Jalen. Now it’s trade Sengun. Some people won’t stop. History shows the Rockets will need BOTH to win.

I don’t get your point. Yeah, we probably won’t be able to keep all the young guys forever, but why does that mean we need to choose between Green and Sengun? We could easily pay both and have money left to make decisions about the rest.

you don't get my point? if we pay the max to both green and sengun, we're probably going to lose two of amen/whitmore/ smith.

But, we’ve already seen how these guys play when both are playing at the same time. It’s not like they haven’t already played together.

I think we could probably keep two of those guys, but regardless, I’m not worried about that. We’ll deal with that later. Sengun and Green are clearly above them right now in terms of priority.

    You’re obviously sensitive about something.
I’ve seen you say nothing to the obvious pro-Jalen anti-Sengun posts.

Ok? We also have a large sample of minutes where Jalen played without Sengun that he didn't look like this. And we also have evidence that he was playing very well next to Sengun before Sengun went down. Why are you pretending like it's a certainty that Jalen can only play like this when Sengun is out of the lineup?

    Again, is this English?
And I don’t know what you’re even talking about, nowhere have I said I was unhappy about what we’re doing.
I’ve defended Jalen from the jump.
I’m just not gonna let these idiots talk bad about our best player and not say something. Alp and Jalen are the future, like it or not

sengun and green are in the same class and will both get the max. I'd be shocked if we could keep two of those three. Whitmore and thompson could get close to max or even max at some point, and smith will still get at least 25 million a year. and then there is eason. Thompson actually benefits too with sengun not clogging the lane.

Deal with that later? stone has to think about it in advance. That is his job. to deal with these scenarios before its too late. you want to trade an asset at its peak. I would rather deal sengun and keep the rest and be replenished with more picks and even more young studs on rookie contracts.

Why is it dumb? First they said we weren't beating anybody, then we beat someone & now the narrative is dumb. The team is clearly playing at the highest level in 3-4 years
