Rockets almost NEEDED this game for fans and even their own confidence. Losing with Shai DNPing would've been a major ego blow IMO. Rockets overcame the refs too. Team is showing great growth over the course this season. Jalen is improving on defense, his layups look like Jordan, and he's even getting assists! Future looks bright and not just talking this season. Great job, Ime. Great win.

Did you watch the game? Context matters, OKC were playing zone and then trapping Green almost every possession. The shots Brooks got weren't forced, they were either wide open, or low on the shot lock that he has to put it up.

Sometimes your role players just have to take more shots due how defense is played

he had me nervous with that start…I have Jalen Green trust issues that require counseling

a few weeks ago that 1-5 start would’ve ended with 5-16 from the field and perhaps not playing in the 4th

instead he finishes with 37, 10, and 7

Kid, for half of this season that would be an insult to Brewer... and I did say that was the worst case.
I'm very happy that he's had 6 or 7 good games now, and I hope he keeps having them.... but you can't pretend like he wasn't dogshit for the first 2.5 years of his career.

Also.... I'm talking about Brooks who has a terrible FG% no matter who is defending him... so it's even more of a reason why maybe he shouldn't have shot so much tonight..... thanks for unwittingly helping make my case.
