Amen is a point forward, which is the combo of a point guard and a forward. He can see the floor, make the vision pass, and has the ability to dribble and run the ball and break. He is a magical point forward and he reminds me of a younger, taller Rondo. Does anyone else see that?
lol that guy needs new glasses. if amen was 5'6" or something, then yea, i could see him being a shorter rondo. trying to imagine an under 6 ft player leading your team in rebounds.... hahahahaha
That shouldn't sound crazy at all, Amen is channeling that dpoy version of MJ early on, his solo defense ability has others on notice in a short time, but he still has ways to go with experience/reps The crazy thing would have been saying he reminds you of Jordan on offense (outside of the high flying ability/speed) skill wise
His physical profile has always kind of reminded me of a young MJ. Similar height, wingspan, weight, and yes, even athleticism. The way he plays is completely different though, at least on offense. Nowhere near the same level of aggression (or skill) as a scorer.
Dude Amen is 6'7 he towers over Rondo lol I honestly have no impression of Rondo before, it seemed like he was just an accessory to the Big 3. It's hard for me to find comparisons to Amen he just seems special. Dude is insanely athletic but also has genius bball IQ and is almost always at the right place at the right time. His inability to shoot never seems to be a liability because he is so athletic and moves in space so well. In the Blazers game both him and JG were so quick they beat the Blazers in running to their side of the court and got open dunks. Like the Blazers would put a shot up and before they can even get to their court Amen or JG were already dunking it. I've never seen anything like it.

I hope next year we work him in more as the ball handler and getting his reps in for when Fred moves on. Could start over Brooks and FVV be more a off ball shooter for stretches. Excited for a Amen, Cam, Tari, Adams lineup though Hopefully Amen turns out like Shai after CP3
