You know when covid happened and politics inevitably consumed the subject I was disappointed but not surprised. After all, the decisions that were made had people's lives and livelihoods hanging in the balance. This event is about as apolitical as you could get. It's about as politically relevant as a rain cloud. Anyone looking at this through a partisan lens needs to go outside and touch grass, and preferably stay there.
