Green having a bad shooting night tonight is a blessing in the sense that I'm more certain than ever this isn't a fluke. He was playing high level defense and wasn't shying away and being passive after a bad shooting half.

What I loved about Jalen’s game is that he had an absolutely atrocious shooting half and then turned it around by playing really hard on defense (and getting some shots to drop). In the second half it felt like he was one of the best defenders on the team—and granted it was against borderline Gleague players but good stops are good stops.

I never felt like we were going to lose, but after watching that first half I had no clue we’d win by this much. Fred and Dillon combined for a terrible shooting night, and I’m glad they got it out of the way against this particular team.

If we can somehow beat OKC on the road on Wednesday it will undoubtedly be the best moment of the past three years up to that point.

Should the Rockets start four players to create more space?

We should only start Jalen Green to give him maximum room to maneuver

It will take some hot shooting and gritty defense to pull off. We don't really matchup well against them

No wonder they folded, they ran out of tricks and Silver put the hammer down and exiled them from the Company Association

I was one of the guys that was excited about Scoot’s potential, but I’ve watched a few games this year and he just seems…ok? Like his ceiling is a solid NBA starter but not really a star. His athleticism is good but not top tier, his shot is average and his passing vision is alright. When I watched him with the Ignite, it just seemed like he had more burst, sort of like an Eric Bledsoe. I guess the level of competition is just too different, even compared to college.

I still think he’ll be good, but it’s been a disappointing rookie season. If he had one super outstanding physical trait besides being “strong”, I think I’d be more confident in his future

I can't really blame Jalen for sleep walking the 1st half since everyone else did.

In the 2nd half, he was a complete player. His box score numbers don't reflect his effect on this game; the +/- does.

Jalen shot like ass, but with the way he’s been playing lately, it felt like “good player having an off night” and not “sh*tty player taking way too many shots” like it often has
