I love Shadeur's talent but I'm thankful that we won't be bringing the Sanders circus to the Texans.

It's called leverage and Sanders knows how to use it. Good for them?

I am so over Deion. His talk is trash; let what happens on the field do the talking.

I followed Pac 12 football closely and told everyone I knew the Colorado hype-train would crash and burn after they started 3-0.

The bigger story is a HC who lost 8 of his last 9 games making demands for specific players in a draft more than a year out.

The good news for Shedeur is that the 25' QB class appears weak.

I've never really understood how the NFLPA is by far the weakest union in all of global professional sports

What isn't to understand? 32 teams with 53-man rosters where the average career length is under 4 years and most players make right at or close to the league minimum.

The short career window makes it especially hard for lower tier guys to risk missing games or seasons supporting a labor action that won't benefit them for long.

We've all heard NBA players talk about "legacy" and "those who will come after us". The vast majority of NFL players have no time for that.

IMO, if the NFL had a system that artificially capped max salaries and spread the wealth more, their union would grow stronger.

Shortest careers, most dangerous sport, hard salary cap, most revenue generated...yeah, it's crazy that I'm a bit perplexed how the NFL takes advantage of their employees.

What don't you understand? A union is only as strong as its weakest links and the vast majority of NFL players fit that very description.

Nothing wrong for a father looking out for his son, or a coach that owes a hell of a lot to in Travis Hunter.

And people can talk about Colorado last season, but they were terrible in 2022, so it was a massive improvement and it was a brutal schedule.

Pressure will be on in 2024 though as it is the 2nd year and what looks to be a much softer schedule. North Dakota State might be their best opponent during the first 5 weeks. They should be 5-0 and then we'll see if they are good or not.

We quadrupled our win total with Deion lol. He was an overwhelming success.

Good for Deion for empowering his players. I’ve got nothing but positivity for him

    haters gonna hate

I'm not a Deion hater at all. The first 3 games were must-watch, but it was a mirage.

He's not "empowering" anybody here but himself to control these two players, one of whom is his son. The season hasn't even started and he's sounding like LaVar Ball.

Deion is making this all about himself and the ego-tripping is exactly what his haters want.

The only thing that matters is results on the field. Words in the month of March are nothing but hot air and hype, which is his speciality.

They were so dysfunctional 2 years ago I think several coaches could have quadrupled the win total.
