When you are $45M under the cap, you can overpay. Good for the t!ts but we’re still going to eat them alive.
They have so much cap space they can do it. Next year they have almost $120 in cap space too, so they can add some of the best free agents available to transform their team. That, and their higher draft picks should make our division much more competitive down the road. They also won't have to pay as much for a new Levis contract as we will for CJ.
If he'll take a minimum style contract, I'd absolutely sign him and see what's up. I doubt he wants a minimum deal though.
Blackmon is really good. Wonder what he's going to get paid. The S market has been more expensive than I expected it to be.
I hope they go BPA. If they do this, then WR and DT will most likely the picks. I could also see a LB taken in the 2nd and DT or wr taken at 3-86.

Nice research. I never wanted Snead and I'm fine with Tittyans paying him big money and sending picks to KC. KC GM adopting Morey's philosophy of letting another team pay. They've got back-to-back SBs and have spent on their most important FAs.
