    The crime numbers in New York have gone down quite a bit so far in 2024 compared to 2023.

    The NYPD released the January numbers and violent crimes..... murder, rape, robbery and assault all are down from January 2023.

    The NYPD released the February crime numbers and those are down from February of 2023 in NYC as well....

    NYC has almost 9,000,000 people that live there, in a relatively small area. There is going to be some murders and weird things that happen... homelessness is a problem for example, and income disparity.

    Having said that - the crime rate in NY is actually very good.

    The murder rate for example in NYC in 1992 was 2,000 people murdered...... in 2023 it was under 400 people murdered.

    The cities seeing an increase in murder rates are Philadelphia and Houston.

    Why it’s a terrible idea to be a vigilante.

    This woman who was being manipulated herself by the scam is dead and the man who felt he was taking on crime is likely to facing jail time himself.
