I wouldn't look at Cooper with our first second. My notes from end of the season is (posted this earlier). There's likely going to be better value with a WR or one of the DT's of choice for our team at 42.
I'd love to see this for past years to see how this rule shakes out. Puca is more so the exception, rather than the rule, I would hesitate at first using this for the current crop, unless the data is validated against WR's from previous drafts to see if it checks out.
Lol more so Emmanuel Sanders/Tyler Lockett hybrid, which is quite different to Edelman, Ladd can play outside too. But absolute no brainer if he is there at 42.
They're right, so much gold at the 2nd round at WR... Leggette was FASTER than Deebo at the combine, with similar size and production coming out of college. I can see why his age might be a knock for most teams, but this team is in win now mode. To get a solid guy with great metrics and even better ability to contribute now, that's definitely a plus rather than a knock. I would be ecstatic with him McConkey, Baker, or R. Wilson in the 2nd.
He's been healthy the last couple of years. I've got him as a top 15 player in this draft without his injury history. I would roll the dice on him probably at 2-59.
Edelman played both too. He played outside with Welker/Amendola in the slot. Lockett would also be a god comp.
Yep - but McConkey at 42 is insane value and gets DeMeco the separator WR he has talked about. And still leave us with the possibility of getting a quality defensive player at 59.
I wouldn't be surprised if he tried trading up for Byron Murphy II if he's still on the board at 25 or 26.
Thanks for this and finally some Javon Baker love! This is my guy. Other than trading back up in the 1st for Brian Thomas Jr. this is the guy whom I love his fit on the Texans. A Dez Bryant clone imo.
