Palestinians are not an ethnic group. they are Arabs, and there are plenty of Arab states where they could go, assuming they can't live peacefully side by side with Israel. frankly, at this point, this is the best solution.
It’s a solution. But it’s not the best. The best is a unified Canaan which is neither Arab or Jewish or Roman or Turk or Circassian or etc. Arab Nationalists nor Zionists would never settle for it though.

This line of thinking is ignorant of how the Middle East (and the entire world) orders itself. Sure the Palestinians are Arab, but so are Emiratis, Omanis and Tunisians. None of those places are historically or culturally identical, but they are all Arab countries. Forcing any of them to move to a new place would not be a seamless task. It's like saying there's no difference between people from America, England, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand because we're all white, English-speaking peoples. Let's move the entire nation of Gabon to Senegal; after all, they're all black and speak French. Why are the Palestinian people the only ones the rest of the world feels comfortable putting quotation marks around and insisting that, no, they aren't actually a culturally-distinct group? I feel like I know the answer (and I actually agree that they've had plenty of chances to chart a new course for themselves, but have given into zero-sum thinking in regards to Israel), but I'm uncomfortable with saying that they deserve cultural erasure.

Yet everyone other Arab in the Middle East can be around a Palestinian and identify them as a Palestinian. They do have their own distinct culture, and they have their own distinct accent and history - which from Arabs in other parts of the region. Palestinian Arabic is a real thing. They also have their own unique cuisine... folk lore and rules. That doesn't even get into their heritage.
