I’m sincerely over the moon based off what we’ve seen so far. They leaked the road uniforms. Of course they did…and they look great. Love the horns on the shoulders….love leaning into the bull stuff at this point. Love the HOUSTON on the front in that font. Looks really good to me…and for a team that plays in a city that feels culturally different than most of the rest of the state they’re branded around, I ****ing love it. I’m a Houstonian…I don’t love we’re called the Texans, but we are….so to me this is branding that’s trying to lean into the city they really play for cause **** those Cowboy fans in SA and Austin and El Paso that will never ever never root for the Texans just because they’re branded as Texans. Bob ****ed that up, to be honest. Looking back, it seems so easy to see how bad he missed on that. Should have been branded around energy or space…Houston isn’t Texas. That’s insanely clear. But here we are…and now my 24 year old son has only rooted for that team that should have been branded something different a long time ago. They weren’t..here we are. Put HOUSTON in bold print wherever you can. Lean into Houston pro football history as often as you can. Bring out Earl next year before the Titans game…those mother ****ers wore Oilers colors vs us…**** ‘em bring Earl. Invite all those old Oilers (Warren can stay home…you made your bed) to be part of it….rebrand the **** out of it while also doing this DEEEEEEEP STEEEEEL BLUEEEEE that Nike couldn’t accomodate…while also doing Hannah’s H-Town Blue, which is just brilliant.
Can’t be disappointed. There’s another option besides the trashy version if they actually do have the Old E Htown
I don't like the numbers so much. The rest is pretty good, IF this is the classic uniform. If this is the bull theme uniform, then that's pretty bad.
Looking at the pic that Cal posted, it also looks like the logo has changed. It looks more angular than rounded.

The entire state is about to become Texans fans. CJ is in place, young stars everywhere and a coach/GM/ownership in lock step. I do absolutely love the Houston on the jersey These are very solid for the usually plane jane road whites.
So I don't like the leaked unis but I had little hope for both the "modern" and the "bull" esthetic. They remind me of Atlanta's unis a LOT. I'm also disappointed by the lack of red. And where is the promised Htown Blue homage?
The red is just objectively better. Damn. I don't like the horns (mostly the way they're so curved kinda conflicts with the rest of the design) but they can be salvaged.
We can at least all agree that they’re 1 for 1 on the naming font at this point, right? At least one has escaped the Old English insanity.
Ok, hear me out.. I agree with everything you’re saying. Love the Houston instead of Htown and I love that we are leaning on Houston instead of “texan” which could include ppl from Dallas, ick. and I actually like these unis a lot. Better Houston than ATL (Hou) or (Htown).. buuuuuuut do any other teams put the city on their uniforms? I’m asking honestly, because I can’t think of any. Not saying it’s bad, just feels a little college-y and the only other I can think of is ATL. I still like them tho. Color scheme is cool.
