Quite sad that even when green shines some anti green folks just can't stand it

Folks take it for granted how hard it is to get player of the week/month with how dominant harden was for us. Doesn't mean much in the long run but still nice to see someone reppin the Rockets get media attention

 

Ime has done such a great job with Green this year. He has been way more patient than I would have been, and Jalen is growing. I don't care much about the numbers, I care more about how he is playing a more team oriented game. This is the slowest the game has ever looked for him. Here's to hoping it isn't fools gold.

Jalen’s progression is almost perfectly correlated to our pace and space on the floor. Finally he plays his best when we switch everything on defense while playing super fast with a stretch 5.

What an incredible coincidence right.

The difference between this Jalen and that Jalen is worth making sure the floor is better spaced and the pace remains high. It’s great opportunity for Amen, Cam, Tari and Jabari too. Sengun has 0 problems playing faster and is already slated to work heavily on his 3pt shot this summer - I don’t see the spacing issue lasting long.

 

Is it still a fluke?

 

I am by no means a Jalen hater, and was not quite ready to give up on him even in the trough of his play this season... but man, looking at those stats and our schedule, pickins musta been super slim in the west this week lol*.

*I really don't keep up with these awards, though, so I don't know how abnormal this is, or how hard they try to find new players to recognize.

 

Numbers don’t tell the whole story. He’s clearly had a big impact on our recent run of success.

 

He got this award because he put up big numbers and we went undefeated. Winning is what gets your players noticed.

Please lord let this be a real turning point for JG, and not the end of the season stat-padding that we have seen the last couple years.
