Not denying man power isn’t a big problem but we’ve seen several wars including recently where a vastly numerically superior force was defeated by a numerically inferior force. Things like technology, knowledge of terrain, and will to fight are major advantages in warfare. This was true even before mechanized warfare. I’m not saying Ukraine can’t lose but reports of Ukraine’s demise have been exaggerated before.

The obvious logic is you are suggesting in 2014 that Obama should have declared war against Russia or later in Syria declared was against Assad and then basically been at war with Russia since Assad is a Putin puppet.
