Daryl Morey/Nick Caserio. Always close, almost, barely missed out, nearly

this is a wild ass take.

the man did the trade to have back to back first rounders, signed Danielle Hunter, traded for Mixon, trades constantly in the draft…

like what are you talking about?

Crazy... not wanting apply a extra million when you can restructure a player or cut Woods.

Yet missed out on many others. We have 3 more yrs before we have to pay CJ. And if you don't think he is being tight now, just wait until then.

If KC, Bal and alike can figure out ways to get who they want, why can't the Texans.....$1M - $2M, shouldn't hold Caserio back from bringing in Armstead or Barkley.

They literally just have to cut Woods and they'll free up $5mil. Concerning Allen, they probably didn't want to give up a 4th rounder, or the Bears 4th is higher than Texans anyways. At least this shows they are trying to add to the WR group.

Yeah man this not New England. The league wont be behind CJ like they were for Brady. All that Patriot way stuff won't work here... we need all the talent we can get. Limit the holes.

We shouldn't be sitting here figuring out how we're going to solidify the DT position or improve the WR position a week into Free Agency, when we had over $60M in Cap space.

The KEY to any defense is the middle, the DT position.

Let's just look for a CB to sign. Draft DT and WR in draft

McConkey and Roman Wilson give you that in a rookie contract (each run a 4.39)

Calais Campbell is still available. However I want to see what moves Caserio makes moving forward.

We still need a starting caliber DT, #2 RB, a WR with speed, LB, CB, and a Safety.

Who has he truly missed out on that would greatly improve this team vs who we have signed so far?

While Saquan is better than Mixon, Mixon fits this offense just as good as Saquan, so yes he missed out on the better player, he at least mitigated it pretty well.

But the whole ‘Nick is being like Morey’ talk is starting to get overblown. The team is better than it was on the day we lost to Baltimore, and acting like it’s a bad thing we still have holes to fill, when every other team in the league has holes as well, some need to relax
