At this point in this exhaustive thread I am declaring that the people who use Woke are using it to refer to people who would be highly unlikely to never likely to vote MAGA-style Republicans. This thread features a lot of black people, white women, and queer people. And those three groups historically vote for Democrats or don’t vote.

Woke is a catchall term for things republicans, libertarians, and increasingly only internet edge lords who are too embarrassed to be open about their actual political leanings, do not like. I have met 3 women with purple hair in my life but they sure get a lot punching down by the anti-Woke crusaders.
Woke up until it was co-opted meant understanding America’s history of racial discrimination. Now MAGA politicians are using being against woke as a rallying cry to ban teaching of our racist past. Do I think my kids should learn about racism? Absolutely. Do I think that by them learning about it they’d feel guilty by association? No. Do I think my kids should treat people with respect and dignity irrespective of their race or religion? Yes. Does outlawing “woke” make that any different? No.

 

You watch, step by obvious step, Trump creating a true death cult all around us, having already passed many of the steps your little KGB videos describe (as far as I can tell), and ... we're supposed to focus on the largely unorganized, incoherent dangers of wokism.
