The way the Eagles are signing these ‘name’ players you would think Nick Sirianni was on the hot seat.

Anyway, it’s gonna be real fun watching that team unravel week 5.
Depth. We were kinda SOoL last year when Cashman and Toto went down with injuries.

Ouch, hopefully they restructure some guys (Tunsil, Howard, Mason, Woods) to open up some more cap space cause if this is it and they expect to go heavy in the draft, we might be in some trouble. Armstead and a safety could tap them out because they still have to pay draft picks, Nick has to get creative

I’m tired of moving the goal posts like “it’s not bad guys, still all these ppl available, just give me these 3 and it’s good”
Like we keep accepting lesser players as still managing to be a positive offseason, and those new players keep falling off the board until Nick uses 25 mil of his 70 mil cap space to “build depth” and we overall are the same skill of team as last year (currently we are worse in my opinion, but the positive folks want to say it’s at least even)

we’ll see, but man, I’m not sure I’m confident that Nick will sign any of these ppl that we have moved the goalposts to accept as upgrades.

Signing Danielle Hunter, Justin Simmons, and Derrick Henry would make up for yesterday a lot....

Honestly more bummed about this news than losing out on Barkley. Cheap and short term.

Yea, im fully expecting some maneuvering still from Caserio to create more cap space. The Texans are still being tied to some of the "bigger" names left so it seems like cuts/restructures have to be done to actually make it happen

Odd odd odd offseason so far… especially after the season we just had. Would love to be a fly on the wall in the Texans war room right now.

I can't fathom how they couldn't beat that Jones contract.

Nothing is odd. This is typical for this franchise and for someone from the Patriots system.

As good as CJ is, our offense is going to continue to be 1-dimensional and easy for opposing defenses to gameplan for....

Drafting a RB in a weak class and expecting a big enough impact is very risky

Yep, and our team is worse than it was… and we’re already talking about how 30 yr old Henry and Arik effing Armstead are the keys to making our off-season.

    yes there is still time
Yes there are still good players out there
no I don’t think Nick will actually sign any of them
No I don’t think it will be as good as we could have done.

but hey, we have cap space for Nico next year.

we aren’t just whining, we just thought this year made sense to make some splashes and our biggest signing is the 3rd best LB on the niners and a 34 yr old DL. It’s just a little disappointing.

so many ppl were like “guys we don’t actually have that much cap space because we have to sign our own free agents” WE HAVENT EVEN DONE THAT.

again, it’s not just whining, we are allowed to be frustrated, your condescending 24-he messages aren’t needed. You wanna trust the process, I’m tired of the same conservative one we have had for a decade. We can both feel how we want to feel. I didn’t send for you, go on mentioning the next player we can get and then change it when they inevitably sign somewhere else..

I’ll continue to be frustrated until caserio does anything more than depth pieces..

I’m sure they’re way more relaxed than folks here.
