KC fans say it’s because they have no big contracts at the skill positions plus good young players on rookie deals.
I really like Henry the best, and he was ranked #3 last year, but if we have to sacrifice for big FA targets at WR, CB, or Defense I say if you can get Henry for barely more than the other two snag him. Otherwise, take the bargain and cross your fingers for a future top draft pick at RB next year, and maybe a depth pick this year in the bottom rounds. As far as catching the ball Henry had 398 yards receiving with Tannehill in 2022, and 214 with Levis. Probably why the numbers dropped. Jones had 395 yards with Rodgers in 2022, and 233 with Love, but missed 6 games for injury. Mixon had 441 yards in 2022 and 376 in 2023, but he isn't as good of a rusher as Henry. Edited: Scratch Mixon. Didn't know he punched women in the face.
Had one incident, has been a model citizen since. Incident was caught on camera, he’s fortunate he got to continue into the NFL, but he’s not a ‘knucklehead’ as in he stays in trouble
Man that’s a whole word salad but if any of his guys made a deal today they’d be telling you how smart they are
The draft is loaded with WRs. That is why his guys aren't getting paid. If this keeps up WR salaries might go the way of RBs.
Looks like Texans may still be interested after all - just not willing to get into a bidding war for DHs services.
