This delay in results gives me hope

 

The Rockets partner with Memorial Hermann for their sports medicine and orthopedics, and likely need to schedule time on an MRI machine there. Still, you'd think that this would be a priority, but we have no idea what the scheduling is like today.

The reason the Hawks got Bey's scan and results so quickly is simple: They partner with the Emory Sports Medicine Center, which shares the same building as the Hawks' practice facility.

 

So when will they break the news? After a big road win when everyone is happy? Like they did with Tari?

One of the basic of management courses is the lecture about "average quality". If you go to a hotel there is an average quality, cannot be something 7 stars and something 1 star.

Rockets management sucks, Alp's situation is another example. I will give 2 out of 5 stars.

Sports entities are millionaires/billionaires with clout and power. There's a reason a player can fly cross-country on a whim like Sengun was able to do last night. They have special access to basically whatever they want.

Even if swelling was an issue effecting an MRI, the team probably already did one anyway to get an idea of the damage and will perform another one after swelling has subsided.

The team just isn't releasing any information yet.

Posters have mentioned shutting him down for the season, but that's obvious IMO. Just hope he fully recovers. Even that seems a tall ask.

 

You can bet that he comes from a decent family, something different than some f.... primitive guys wearing Rockets jersey.
