Hope it's LCL. It takes signigicantly less time to completely heal. 3 months at worst.

Wondering how long it'll take to hear something. Rockets brass has been pretty bad with injuries this year.

I watched this video couple of times and here's my analysis.

I think it's all about his ankle and pain radiates to his knee that's why he was holding his knee. After pain on the knee subsides he keeps saying that it's his ankle that got ****ed up. 1:25 to 1:30 is the key. He doesn't feel discomfort when that guy touches his knee region but whenever he goes down sengun makes a painful grimace. It's more than likely grade 3 ankle sprain but his knee is fine. If his ACL was torn he would have screamed when they played with his knee like like a yo yo. Basically his ankle pain was so intense it radiated to his kneecap region. Anyone who sprained his ankle this badly knows that the pain doesn't just stay there.

100% of people with broken foot/ankle say "it's just a sprain" to themselves at some point

Whatever the Rockets say publicly, just know that the real injury is 3x worse. That's been their MO for years.

Yea it could be a broken ankle too but i doubt there is any damage in his knee.

I think it might be a fracture, of the ankle - or a severe sprain which is near the same thing.

Just shut him down and let him heal.

When I was 15 or 16, I jumped from the top of the stairs to the ground and sprained my ankle. This happened in school. It was so bad i couldn't get up and walk. Other kids lifted me up and they called my mom to get me. Honestly it was so bad even air touching my feet, ankle was enough to make me scream in pain. I couldn't step on it for 2 weeks. My entire knee felt ****ed up. If the sprain is really bad it absolutely feels like some bone is broken down there.

that's still under the "shut him down and heal" umbrella.

Alpi could die. Infections and blood clots are real! His entire leg could fall off!

I think you're right. This will be an ankle sprain to end all ankle sprains. His knee got tweaked but shouldn't have any lasting issues. The key is what legit damage there is to the ligature in his ankle.

That actually happened to Alex Smith, but his injury was through the roof awful. Sengun’s is nothing like that.
