We play lots of games against some really bad teams in there...we could get some free wins against teams that are trying to lose on purpose for draft position down the stretch. I also wonder about that final game against the Clippers, their seed might be set at that point and they could rest all their guys. Optimistically we could go 10-10 here? Maybe even better?

DD Agree with all. Jalen still has a say 20% chance of stardom which will benefit as a Rocket or in a trade. Plus Though we can't raise our (Brooklyn pick) draft ranking by losing to Toronto and/or Memphis the only way to move up it would be nice for them both to have long losing streaks. Even so realistically pick 6 is probably as high as we can go.
I don’t think they’ll make a playin but play like they want it. Try to make late season improvements. Truly I’ll be inconsolable if we don’t see a single minute of Jalen-Cam-Amen-Jabari-Alpe. I’m guessing we get mathematically eliminated in the coming weeks, basically don’t want to see FVV, Brooks, Jeff or Holiday after that.
I think we could possibly go 10-10 the rest of the way. 11 road games is not great considering we can't win on the road. However 6 of those are against sub-500 teams. Lets say we could maybe win 3 of those 6, and go 3-8 in the road section. Home section, 4 games against sub-500 teams. Say we only win those and go 4-5 at home. That's 7-13 as a conservative guesstimate. So we could overachieve and win 10. Personally I think our differential (+0) indicates we are a better team than our record indicates. It puts us at 18th overall (22nd on record). So we are young and have found ways to lose games we should have won (ie Clippers game). Even just 7 wins and a 34 win season (on even differential) would be a great effort considering where we were at the end of last year...
If we lose anymore games against Portland or San Antonio I'm going to be pissed. They each got their token win against us, no more. I'll say we end the season with 35 wins, a couple more than I expected coming into this season. Pretty good considering Tari was out almost the entire year.

Well Utah is killing smashed tonight 3/9 vs Denver so that helps. I think the 3 Utah games will decide where we end up. Curry getting hurt may help as well.
