Clippers totally shut down the pick and roll game in the 4th quarter. You'd think instead of banging our head against the PnR wall we would go to Sengun and try to force the double to hit the open shooter. That's literally how we got the 20 points lead, but to each their own I guess.

Outside the missed free throws, Alpi definitely was not terrible in the 4th quarter.

Alperen’s FT shooting is a big factor in the loss. There’s absolutely no reason you can be that bad except that you don’t practice shooting them nearly enough. If you stay after practice and shoot 300 FTs per day, that doesn’t happen. That’s what the great players do.

People think that push shot and 1 legged shot are cute, but they are indicative of a huge weakness shooting. The muscle memory isn’t there. And if he has to shoot a jumper, forget about it, he’s lucky if he hits the rim.

This summer he needs to get a shooting coach and practice a quick release shot over and over and over again every single day. That and work on his fitness/endurance.

You can improve your shot, even FT % but, it's harder on the FT.

Ime played FVV too much this game - should have been more Amen Cam and Jalen … they were running the Clippers out the gym

Pretty harsh response for a game we weren't supposed to win in the first place. Y'all act like this isn't a good Clippers team.

The way the Clippers were scoring on every possession in the fourth, it relied on the Rockets also scoring every possession to keep pace. That is not sustainable for this team currently. We’re not a good shooting team.

4 points is not a major factor in this loss.

He is not the reason we lost. We went back to our ball hogging in the 2nd half. When you have bricklayers shooting FT without the clock running, shat happens.

Green should cut his 3 pt attempts to 4 per game. FVV needs to cut his lay up attempts to zero unless he is wide open on a fast break. Cash in those attempts to Jabari so he can get more than 6 threes when he is scorching hot.

It’s a back to back game so expected this loss to the clippers, but squandering a 20 point lead and letting clippers score 42 in the fourth was disappointing

His defense always leaves large space for opponent to take easy shots.

But they also started fronting Sengun so it was just overall hard to get him the ball. Got too predictable. Plumlee was wrestling with Sengun so he cant get a low post position

I think it would be awesome if Sengun started shooting FTs underhanded.

It speaks to defense which wasnt as good because it was a second night of a b2b. If it wasnt this is a win. The Rockets couldnt switch and swarm and put maximum effort like usual.

IMO..all points are a factor in a close game. FT are the only time when the clock is not running and you can score. FT matter.

Can't blame anyone. We lost because we are a young team and they have 3 superstars. Kawhi and PG didn't miss. Harden did all the right things. They will probably make finals. Can't beat these guys in 4 games.
