Now you've done it. You've got me on a Belly kick for the day. This is from their last album a few years ago. It's pretty darn good.
this cover of Tennessee Whiskey by T-Pain honestly surprised me…I didn’t know he had vocals like this 3:09 mark onwards, he really did his thing
He won the first season of The Masked Singer and he never used auto tune one time. His singing voice is legit.
yeah, but I’m surprised his vocals are on this level without the autotune makes me wonder why he felt the need to use it in the 1st place although it did work out for him
Sorry, that's: "Stash" from A Pitcure of Nectar, 1992 Whatever, this is my favorite song from that album:
They were using the Autotune at that point was as a "special effect". If it works as intended and if its dialed in correctly you never hear it at all. What they did was turn all the knobs to 11 to make it warp the audio. They werent using it for pitch correction, rather as an audio effect. Started with that Cher song "Believe" and became a novety. There are "big"-ish current names that Ive been told use autotune on every release, but you'd never guess because they are using it like its supposed to be used.
