There exists a special breed of Sengun stans that worship Sengun. They don’t care about the Rockets, never did. They might have become fans of a few of our players along the way but they aren’t and were never Rox fans. You can usually tell them by their join date. Hell, if Sengun had an Only Fans account, these dumbasses would be first in line to buy bottled bathwater and farts.
That's different, she's not a "person involved with the Rockets" at all. Her husband is involved with the Rockets. Those are 2 VERY different things entirely. One is a popular social media pundit in the Rockets twitterverse messaging a player on the team thinking he's above his station and that his "tips" could ever be positively received. One is a crazy obsessive weirdo fan (like many fans of a certain person - the overemotional diatribes appear on a more than daily frequency) messaging a team official's wife about her husband's job in an insulting way. It actually feels a little odd that I felt compelled to write that out, like it needed to be said.
My post was honestly only referring to certain posts on this thread from accounts that joined the GARM way before Sengun was drafted by the Rockets. Talking about the state of the GARM in general wasn't my point. I don't really want to get into the JOF vs SOF debate.... BUT. I find this pretty unfair. There are certainly fans that joined the GARM when Sengun was drafted, but is that really all that different from fans that become more active when a star joins the team via trade? I certainly wasn't following the Rockets as much until the Dwight Howard trade, personally. When, and why, you join the Rockets fandom shouldn't be something you judge someone on. I don't think we should be gatekeeping. Disagreeing with what someone is saying is an entirely different beast though. It's definitely true that people in JOF and SOF camps can be unreasonable.
For me, it’s like inviting someone to your house and instead of acting like a guest they go around leaving messes, insulting your family and pets, complain about how bad the food tastes while eating for free, and then leave a dump in the toilet without flushing while leaving the seat up. After going through YOFs, TOFs, LOFs, and now SOFs, I am personally fine with some gatekeeping. There might be some good apples but I find the overall distasteful.
I actually liked D-Mo, too bad he slipped on his own butt sweat and broke his back while T-Jones got a collapsed lung in what seemed like the same time.
I still haven't emotionally recovered from that DMO injury /half-serious. He's certainly playing well overseas now. T-Jones was a scrub, but before his injury his play was promising. Just for fun, I looked up a comparison of T-Jones stats in 2014 vs Jabari for this year. Spoiler Here's hoping Jabari doesn't slip on any butt sweat.
Not sure why the total GP didn’t already tip you off but that’s Jabari last year. Even his 3 pt% should have clicked
And here I thought I edited the post fast enough. It has the updated stats now. What can I say, I just got back from work.
@Os Trigonum I'm offended by that profile picture. Please change it. Or else I'm gonna have to report you.
Agreed but that means he missed BIG on his first tank after selling the the tank to Ferntits who didn't want to tank. If he waits Jalen out, hoping for improvement, but eventually he doesn't, then he's at fault for not pivoting quicker. Like i said, he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Best chance he has, tell Ferntits the tank he sold got tripped up leaving the gate and we have to aggressively pivot.
