It would be *really* weird to specifically announce the logo isn't changing.... and then change it. What did Landry Locker say, exactly?
That's what a challenge is. Asking for proof, evidence, anything to corroborate an assertion. It's a perfectly normal and reasonable thing to ask for. Their response tells you everything you need to know about the likely nature of their claims.

I wish the org would lean into red more. I used to want Columbia Blue/H-Town blue but the more I think about it, I’d rather the team blaze its own path.
I like involving the H-Town blue…but I hope the dominant color is red, too. I honestly think that’s where it’s going…but maybe that’s just my wishful thinking
That was me, and it was pure speculation based on something Drew Doughtery said. Again, here is what's been confirmed: 1) the current uniforms - at least the blue/white; white/blue combos - will no longer exist. 2) the logo is not changing (can a logo change colors and it not qualify as "changing"? TBD) 3) we are getting h-town blue in some capacity 4) there are four uniforms - but we don't yet know exactly what that means: four unique uniforms or four variations of the same uniform? TBD Anything else being reported here - or elsewhere - is unconfirmed, and I would check my source.
This is where I've landed. I am not against H town blue alternates/throwbacks, but this team should be red all day.
I'm the same way. I used to want that blue, but now I'd rather create a new identity, without bringing back the color of a time of misery, when our team left town for Tennessee. I'd love more red, with a splash of uniqueness in colors.
