iono bout lakers. lerbon finna retire and the team will suxs. the shenj would be dope in okayc, minny, or pacers.
I think I have been pretty consistent with the few things I have wanted to see from Sengun since Day 1 to be convinced he is a superstar and franchise player.
If OKC had just drafted him instead of sending us the pick they would be absolutely unstoppable... Presti is good, but man is still human and he done messed up
"We need someone who is taller, can dominate, can win the paint and who's a more legit center, overall." Um, that's great and all, but who exactly do you want? Tell us who's better than Sengun AND also able to be acquired, at this point in time, instead of saying obvious things like "we need better players." Because of the centers better than Sengun, their current franchise is never going to trade them unless forced (DEN, PHI) or the Rockets would have to trade a king's ransom just to get a little better at the 5. Meanwhile, there's 11 other roster spots on the team to worry about.
Comparison of Sengun and Gasol at age 21: Comparison of Sengun (3rd season) and Gasol (3rd season, age 23): Honestly, this front office and large parts of the fan base don't even deserve Sengun.
Not even the Fakers and Celtics have all the young talents, they are paying big money for older stars.
It would probably be best for Sengun in the long run to be traded to a better managed team that would appreciate him. Trade him back to OKC for some of their draft stash. OKC would become unstoppable. While I would still be a Rockets fan, I would be following the Thunder very closely too. I would watch the Thunder when I want to see winning basketball and the Rockets when I want to see Jalen Green still starting shooting 30% from 3 and 40% overall.
Yup, he's in a lose lose scenario regardless if he keeps or moves on from Jalen. Both make him look bad in different ways.
While Sengün would be good, I think there are better fits, like Markkanen, Luka, Giannis, Olynyk, Anunoby etc... I have watched Thunder since they were the Sonics and since young Harden. I thought who is this Spurs killer off the pine?
For him to become a franchise player / superstar, he needs a jump shot that opponents have to respect. I don't care if it's from midrange or 3pt; 3pt is ideal, but there needs to be at least SOME respectable range.
It is funny that some take it as a massive compliment to compare Sengun to a hall of famer, 2 time nba champ, and top 2 player (arguably best depending on who you ask) on a championship team...and others are taking it as an insult?
It is best to rip the band-aid off quickly. Stone prefers to pull it off slowly extending the pain as long as possible praying it will magically not hurt.
I don't think a single person has expressed they took it as an insult. It's more that those who denigrate and undervalue him think it's too much of a compliment.
