How credible is this guy? Has he been proven to have legit, high-level sources inside the Rockets organization?
Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks have been terrible since their injury return and have been a Minus. Amen Thompson and Cam Whitmore should be Starting over those Two. Cam should be a Small Forward. The Best Players on the Team are not Starting and Stunting their Development and Growth. The Front Office and Owner and Ime Udoka have Failed in overpaying Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks who don't fit and are bench Role Players. Ime Udoka was in pure Delusion believing in Signing Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks and easily making the Playoffs. Absolute waste of Money.
Stone has to be on the hot seat regardless of what he thinks of Sengun due to his poor roster/asset management, but if he truly thinks Sengun is less valuable than Jabari and Tari--two future (hopefully very good) roleplayers--that's another notch against him.
Alperen Sengun needs to Develop a 3 Point Shot so he can play Power Forward with Steven Adams. It looks like Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams will be Starting Together. Kat and Rudy Gobert Model Rockets Scoring will get worse if the Players don't improve their shooting. Amen Thompson, Alperen Sengun, Jalen Green, Jabari Smith really need a 3 Point Shooting Coach. Chip England comes to mind fixing Kawhi Leonard broken Form and fixing his Shooting Form.
This always confused me when we had James Harden. Despite Harden being our best guy he was always the main guy getting hate here. Not other players who barely gave him help. Im starting to see this same pattern with Sengun. Maybe Rockets fans just hate good players. Just trade him Ill follow to whatever team Sengun goes to like I follow the Clippers. The Rockets are becoming the 2000's knicks soon anyway.
That's how it is with any fanbase and their star player until that guy leads them to a championship. (And even then, if it's too long between rings, the "what have you done for me lately" starts.) *Sengun is not a star player (yet).
Alpi on a team that values him and puts players in place around him to bring out his strengths will be a thing of absolute beauty. I hope one day I get to see it. At this point I don't even care if it's the Rockets anymore - this management don't deserve it.
That's what I wrote this to his wife then his wife blocked me immediately. Rafael Stone is a loser. He knows that. That's why he didn't send Jalen somewhere before deadline. He wants to keep him because if he trades him so basically he is gonna accept he failed.
Sengun is not as good as yall think He's definitely not a #1 or #2 on a championship team I do however think he can be a good starting role player on a championship team Also, Amen is our best player. A borderline future all star but still a #3 at best Rockets still need to search for a superstar
if the lakers are willing to overpay for sengun with those 3 first round picks and swaps, i'd ship him out immediately. He'd be worth it to them.
Good, I'm sure lots of teams want Sengun. He's a clear future multiple all star, it's only our fans that always "need to see more immediately before making a prediction" lol
I am on the fence as well because I would like to watch Sengun continue to make the Rockets better but I admit he has to look out for himself and his career because Stone is a selfish son of a gun.
