Despite Poku, that's my point. If you're saying continued tanking indefinitely until you find 3 or 4 legit nba players then no thank you. Worst approach ever for fans and standings don't mean crap. If they tanked like the astros for years and don't come out with multiple chips then what a waste of time.

 

Your point was that not every single player will be great after being on a team that hordes picks? Yeah, I think everyone would agree with that, and I don't think anyone ever argued otherwise. But because they did accumulate picks and drafted well, they're a super loaded, super young team. I think their fans are A-OK with what they have.

 

As someone who's been open to tall skinny guys like chet (pre draft) or bol bol even, don't think Poku is that dude.

The shooting comes and goes, little to no defense, and an injury history. Thunder shipped him back and forth from their g-league team OKC Blue; when he was down there, he wasn't exactly dominating. Their fans officially labeled him Tank commander when they tanked for Chet and J. Wlliams.

OKC has a type of 'players' they like to ship. Like products of a company, Poku is analogous to that early prototype that failed and had to get thrown away. He's that early build, until the usable versions are what's on their roster now.

Saw another post, Pacers have 4 players from 1st round 2020 draft and they didn't any of them. No one would argue that we are ahead of schedule compared to them. So my point stands, you don't have to tank and draft your key pieces. Scouting and roster building is still the most important role for a front office and Stone has yet to deliver.

Jeff Green is doing a lot for this team more than JRE. You act like JRE is doing a lot for NOP oh boy we are really missing that 3 ppg.
