No it's not. He had this franchise by the balls & was all about team success ONLY if he got his numbers. Once he got his personal accolades, he QUIT on us multiple times. Harden shouldn't have been anywhere near this young team

I trust the judgement of Ime and the process he’s laying out for how we build a 2-way, hard nosed, team oriented basketball culture. I don’t really trust Stone’s judgement or ability to build a great roster. 3 yrs of Silas and rebuilding pillars Christian Wood and KPJ took a toll on our franchise. We needed a culture change. I’m sure Harden would have helped us win, but up until very recently Fred has been hugely impactful to winning. If he had more help he’d be even more impactful. Playing him among the most minutes in the nba was going to catch up to us. That’s a roster problem.

Harden is playing next to 2 HOFers and a deep and experienced roster. Fred doesn’t have another guard in the back court that can handle the ball and shoot and he’s surrounded by 20 year olds. Apples to oranges.

Of course harden is the better player; we all acknowledged that this offseason, but it was a culture reset that was needed, and Fred has really delivered that.

Next year would be a better time for Harden to come back than this past season. Now we know who's expendable.
Imagine this team with Amen Thompson, Cam whitmore, Tari Eason on the wings with Harden guiding them. The easy looks Sengun and Jabari will have. Steven Adams and Harden running the pick n Roll like Clint and him used to.

I am a fan of FVV and get why we signed him, but man Harden would be nice right now.

What sucks is all the KPJ related dominoes. Mobley doesn't want to work out here because of KPJ. We draft Jalen in part because of that. We draft Christopher in part because of Jalen. We probably don't sign Harden because we need a culture reset for KPJ and Jalen. And ultimately once Jalen is (hopefully) gone next year none of those guys will be here anymore.

I already said it, if Harden took FVV's contract, I would agree... few more millions.

If he want more than 3 years, nope.

I would’ve rather rode out the end of Harden’s career with the Rockets and saved the rebuild until OKC starts to decline. This first go round is looking like a dud.

Just fine isn’t going to win championships, especially with other young teams looking much more promising. The mediocrity treadmill would’ve been better, Harden was at least entertaining to watch.

Signing VanVleet for the max instead of Harden continues to be a hilarious(ly bad) decision.

    2-way?
    You sure about that?
The Offensive side is looking a might anemic

I'm not sure about brining Harden back . . . but I would love for these guys to work out with him this summer
one thing about Harden . . .His summer workout seem to be good
