NO was bigger than the Rockets across the board other than PG, when Amen played and it showed.

We need size

Sengun - is too small to be a starting center
Jabari - needs to be a SF
Dillion - needs to be traded
Jalen - I honestly don't know
FVV - good shorter but too small and too slow

This is why we.lost

 

Stone calling BKN to trade Jalen and all their picks back for Mikal Bridges reeks of desperation to me.

Deep down Stone knows he ****ed up big time drafting Jalen and Jabari, he knows we're headed for another 3 years of tanking and rebuild with the way things are going.

 

NOLA has the better team when they are fully healthy......a better bench with wings like Herb Jones, Hawkins, Murphy.

Period.

It is not a bad matchup though.

Bari needs more shots and should of been on Zion (like last year) since Ingram isn’t playing

Sengun continues to get bodied by real C

Dillion always takes the rushed shot that ends up fueling the other teams run to +10

FVV can’t make nothing inside … didn’t use his midrange .. had some awful turnovers and really needs to sit for Amen so starting group can play faster

Sad, I expected more from our youngins. Only Amen looked good at times while Bari, Sengun and JG all had a terrible game

FVV looked rusty and Dillon.. I dont see this defensive specialist tag this guy has honestly

 

This is just sad. 4 years in this damn rebuild process, we still don’t know who is or if we do have any franchise players, and on top of that we now paying crazy money to free agents while still sucking.

 

For the Playoffs, all you need are very good players....but yeah if you want to go deeper than 1st round, then you got to have at least 1.

 

It seems we are still trash at developing young talents.

 

Disagree on the off season passing part.
That's the time to work on shot mechanics and individual moves but live game time is the best place to learn to share.
I don't worry AT ALL about Udoka "ruining" Cam by asking him to share.
Cam has such a forceful game/personality you have to reign him in at least a bit at 1st because the tunnel vision thing IS real.
Unlike Jalen whom you have to coax and prod if Ime gives Cam the green light he WILL be right back shooting most every time he gets the ball next game.

I personally loved seeing Ime talking to Cam on the sidelines because if we ever get good you simply CANNOT shoot the ball without a conscious and win at a high level.

 

Teams didn’t play PNR same way or camped in the lane as they did earlier in the season. Teams adjusted. Rockets haven’t

 

And once again we have no offensive system - it’s PNR with Sengun or dribble handoffs - we don’t take midrange shots so teams pack the paint and jump out to our non shooters ….

we prob rank in bottom of NBA in corner 3pt attempts and prob top half of wing 3pt attempts ..just awful
