You are a complete idiot. Calling a 20 year old a scrub after he has a few bad games.

jabari is a 36% 3 pt shooter, averages 8.4 rebounds and plays outstanding defense. He is inconsistent because he is 20 years old and plays in a poor offensive system.

The system is fine and Jabari is fine in it. The biggest issue is how easy we are to defend when one of our starting 3 point shooters is shooting 30% from 3 on like 7 attempts per game.

Not sure if u r serious but Im the biggest Jalen fan and this was not his game. He was not as defensively active as I like him to be tbh. Those early 3s really ruined us and he cant seem to hit a 3 to save his life.. But I do think he shouldve atleast played a bit more in the 2nd half, shouldve gave him some time in the 4th too and if he was showing same signs as early in game I take him out.

Im not the biggest fan of alpis defense but he did alright imo. Udokas rotations is weird tho.

Brooks on the other hand.. idk man. If he doesnt hit 3s he is a negative on the offensive floor. Also he was supposed to be a defensive specialist but I just dont see it in his game. He gets cooked by everyone rn it feels like. Even by a 19 yo named Gregory lol

lots of people don’t take account for that and end of shot clock / qtr shots … I usually remove those to see persons true shooting % that game

So it's the break and, of course, we don't have any All Stars. Thank goodness we have the UH-UT game to get our basketball fix! Thinking about the team's progress so far this year-- like I imagine Udoka is doing-- I'd have a few suggestions or pleas:

When we don't come out of the gate breathing fire, mass substitutions should be triggered lickety split. Somehow the coaches need to get these kids bringing the 4th Q intensity from the tip.

Start Cam over JG. Jalen might be more efficient off the bench, we hope.

Start Tari over DB9. DB9 fouls too much.

Give Amen more time at the point, spelling FVV, and playing alongside FVV.

More minutes for the Nates, please!

Try a few minutes of Boban in the low post & Sengun in the high post. Bit of preview of next year with Adams. High post, Princeton offense might suit Sengun and get us more kick-out, wide open 3s to go with our youngsters' backdoor cut dunks.

Overall, the team has been much improved and more watchable and sparkling with glimmers of hope for the future.

I was trying to enjoy the finger pointing mob mentality my apologies - Im still learning the in's and out's of being a bad fan. ;)

The daily panic attacks do offer some comedy though you have to admit!

Ideally, you suck the defense into the paint and KICK the ball out to your open wing guys in the corner…or top of the key..I mean like just occasionally would be nice. It’s kind of sad to watch Bari frantically waiving multiple times a game WIDE ASS OPEN,,,,and watch Jalen or Sengun play 1 on 3in the paint. It doesn’t matter where he moves, the ball is normally not coming to him.And the rare times it does, the pass is so slow being delivered, the shot is muck more closely guarded, Very low basketball IQ IMO.

for some reason I’d like to see Amen take Jalen’s spot in the rotation. I like Cam coming off the bench until his bball IQ improves a bit. Would like to see what Tari can do starting at the 3 or 4. But mainly I just want Amen and Tari on the court together. That could be difference-making for this team. Two of the biggest motors in the nba, both already elite rebounders and defensive players.

Nothing much against Bari but we need better shooters around Amen.......and no, Holiday do not count.

Gigi Jackson might be the new Star on the Horizon, wasn't he supposed to be younger than Cam Whitmore?

    6 months younger.
Put in 27 tonight in a win against the Bucks.
Dude is just so skilled as an offensive player.
Almost 6'10'' and can dribble, shoot and score inside and out with a variety of moves.
Very quick for a big guy as well.
On an absolute tear from 3 lately.
    He banked one in tonight.

Has ALL the tools to be an offensive monster!
And he's the youngest player in the league.
    6 months younger than Cam.
    More importantly though 3-4'' taller.

EASY to defend our 3 point shooters…..the defender on each wing plays cheating toward the center while cheating away from our wing3 point shooter…they KNOW that there is a great chance the guard bringing the ball up is shooting or it is going inside to Alpy. The guard controls WHERE the ball goes…and it’s going to Alpy, who is battling double and triple teams most times. Kick out to the open shooter? Not happening. Hell, our shots are for the most part 3’s or inside to Alpy.

Great kudos that offensively Alpy beats those doubles and triples. Our offensive system is very stagnant… little to no movement and certainly not kicking out to an open shooter. Hakeem used to do it with regularity.I watch other teams do it night in and night out.
