Overall definitely one of the better Jalen games. But I am getting more and more concerned over time by the 3P shooting. He just keeps chucking 'em up and his percentage just keeps going down. Same was true tonight, when he went 2 for 9 from three in another loss. Over his past 20 games he has gone 40 for 149, for a 26.8% three point percentage. That's over seven shots per game at 0.8 points per possession, for those counting.

 

The Nets are still competitive, ouch.

 

Happy to see Udoka called out Dillon out for his stupid foul at the end of the game.

 

The Udoker is equal opportunity when it comes to tongue lashings.

 

I don't know, it seems like Udoka post game pressers are becoming more exciting than the actual games.

I don’t think he develops a consistent shot this season, but based on his much better shooting on mid range/long 2s, and his ability to occasionally catch fire from 3 especially on some tough dribble pull ups, I’m hopeful with the right offseason work he could develop a much more consistent shooting stroke. Honestly our whole team needs a shooting coach lol

 

Concerned? He was never a good shooter, not in the GLeague where he was close to league average at best.....in a short span.

I really do not get the fantasy that he is going to be miraculously a 37% shooter.

 

I think Udoka may lose the locker room if he doesn't measure his criticism in a way that protects his guys. It's okay to bench in game, but don't publicly shame. I think that will be a recipe for disaster long term.
