Don’t you get it? The better offer is the star player we’re chasing next season. Tate has more value as added salary in that trade -Stone’s IQ
Ok at this point I just want them to get rid of Tate so that Udoka can't use him. I love Tate but we're not a team that can absorb a bad shooter - especially now that we have to absorb Amen. I feel like Amen is a better passer, defender and cutter anyway. Surprised we turned down two 2nds from Mavs. They must have been really bad 2nds, or Stone leaked it to start a bidding war and got burned (Mavs acquired another target). Maybe there's a chance they can still do that deal? I don't know.
