It is much easier to predict KPJ re-joining the NBA date than that.......

I just hope the Rockets make 2x Finals with Alperen Sengün........

It is up to the bball gods if they win it.

The causation that everything goes relatively well and they still win no championships is probably greater in the NBA.

    • That is why winning a title is the hardest thing in this league.
    • There is always a team or owner that outspends you, a team that outhustles and outtalents you......
    • but okay perhaps Injury luck....

Yes, the odds are never good--you can never really predict a specific year

But if it happens, it will almost certainly be when our young core is around age 26-33.

I do think Ime Udoka had the luck that he was in the East and that Boston was sort of a very good situation....

    despite the challenges Boston faced......

It's not really the best time to talk about championships when your coach has been coaching really averagely the last games.

It seems they will have to win it under another Coach even and Ime was just the coach that helped the young guys on their way.

The Front office has locked us in to a Hornets style where we're never good enough to compete but we sign enough players to be to good to completely tank

2018 taught me that the NBA is just a glorified WWF, and Houston will never be granted a championship by the league office unless our city suddenly becomes a heavier hitter in terms of spending power. Which won’t happen in my lifetime, because we’re an immigrant city that other white fans and journalists from markets like Boston and Dallas love to demonize. We are the Iron Sheik of the NBA and there just is no point in letting a team like that win one. But there’s plenty of interest in keeping us competitive at least, so fans of wealthier cities have someone to hate. I’m almost 40 now and no longer associate my own sense of self worth with how the basketball team is doing. I’ll let my son root for his local team. I’m just here because the team won me over in the 90’s and I’ll always root for them regardless of the performance. **** the haters, Houston is awesome. #FYHA

2018 when time travel is invented in the far FAAAAR future, one brave Rockets fan goes back in time to tell Chris Paul to... stretch some more...

Cp3 goes down as a top 3 pg of all time

Harden surpasses Wade on the all time list

That Rockets team become Giant Killers! Known as the greatest team ever assembled to face down the most bs team ever assembled by the nba.

It depends on how many of young core-6 will be kept and who will be the next coach.

Before the season I would say 3 championships in a decade starting from 2026-27 but it seems too early for terminating some contracts and getting new personnel.

We have 3 diamonds (Alp/Tari/Amen), 2 platinums (Jabari/Jalen) and 1 gold (Cam) to be processed to shine, a very good FO for picking drafts but very bad FO for trade/free agent signings and average (in NBA standards) coaching.

2027: better HC and kept the young core
    2029: Kept top 3 talents

Building a new arena and building the new practice facility would be great enough under Fertitta.

Sometimes the owner got to have enough basketball acumen and instincts for this to work out.

I am not sold on him but he is a good builder of facilities. Let's just dwell on that first.
