    Whether for good or bad, Stone keeps trying to make sure he has plenty of expiring contracts every year just in case. 3 SRPs seems a little steep. At some point, Stone will need to acquire some SRPs in the 2028-2030 range to keep having some flexibility to make minor moves.

    Hopefully this alleviates some pressure on getting a backup center this year as Rockets really only need them in a few games provided Tari comes back.

    That’s not the point. We were trading these picks. But now that trade capital is gone … on Adams.

    I’m fine with it, but understand others who wanted something else.

    Probably the smartest move Stone has done. Does two things.

    1) Obvious. Amazing backup and mentor to Sengun. Absolutely solid.

    2) Tells the Nets to get ****ed. We're not in it for this year so thanks for the picks r****ds. Enjoy Ben Simmons and Mikal Bridges.

    Adams put up 10.5 & 13.8 in 28.6 min over his last 10 games before getting hurt. (and he's got good vision, nice passer)

    Also, mentor & enforcer.
