I said earlier in this thread that MAGA would kick out their lawyer and blame the deep state. I literally predicted exactly this @tallanvor

This is what these people do. They just blame everything on this Invisible entity for everything and all their dipshit followers fall in line. It's just peak brain rot @El_Conquistador

LOL, you must know very little about the legal process. It's highly common to change lawyers as you enter the appeals stage. You need a specialist for an appeal, and there are several other reasons to make that change. For you to not know that suggests that you are very inexperienced or young. Which your thin logic and emotional displays would also point to.

I dislike this lady, but she did exactly what trump wanted her to do, she acted like a deranged lawyer for trump, as he wanted, and made outrageous statements for the orange man. The fact that he lost was because he was guilty, but man are the maga sheep quick to blame their own when they don't get the predetermined WIN.....the facts and truth mean nothing, any loss is considered bad even when there was no way to win............he goes through lawyers faster than anyone I have ever seen................................ it's not the lawyers, it's because their client is consistently guilty yet lies to his base so when they lose its never trumps fault. Just as trump always says he will win as long as the process is fair

Trump only gets the dregs for counsel. The only ones who'll represent him better understand that they're working pro bono and hope future clients are drawn to their scumbaggery.

Alina Habba, hired for her looks (she's like a swarthier Ivanka) and her willingness to say any stupid thing for Trump when the cameras are pointed at her. She probably did think he'd choose her for AG if he wins (I think once she lost an un-winnable case he dumped her like this morning's Raisin Bran).

Still a party devoid of ideas, hostile to democracy, and enthralled to the stupidest man to serve as president?

The state of the GOP is nothing if not steady.

Interesting that the supposed "independent" and "definitely not trump/maga" is pushing babylon bee right wing "satire" posts? Thankfully my rent free place in his head keeps providing me free lodging ;)

    Leaving this here...

This could have easily been an Onion piece. Who knew the Right could make fun of the Right? Maybe we are seeing the first sign of a sea change for the Right? Yeah, no.

I’ve brought this up before but my understanding of being a licensed professional
Isn’t just doing whatever the clients want. My job is to provide a service to the client but that also means keeping the client out of further trouble and abiding by the laws.

As recently as yesterday I pushed back against a client they wanted to do something cheap that potentially could cause further problems. If I just viewed it as doing whatever the client wanted even though I know it violates the building codes and opens up the client to potential lawsuits from future tenants I very well could and probably should lose my license.

Totally agree, some people are wired to do the right thing and some people are wired to be yes men and woman, she falls into the latter and that's what trump wants, I think we can see this by the ever-rising number of lawyers who leave him, they want to do the right thing but he won't allow it so they have no option but to leave.

This has been one of the things that has really been troubling me recently. You have so many people who should legally, professionally and ethically behaving against those standards. I know for a long time a lot of people believe lawyers are all corrupt shysters but many of the people I know who have gone into the profession have been very ethical. It's really troubling to see how many of them on the biggest stage though are flaunting the law and undermining the profession.

Legal experts have attributed the delay to the desire to wait for the immunity decision. But of course, lunabird demands an explanation...
