Crazy that a talented really tall athletic guy who’s probably better and richer then you in every way is still winning at life and is in the NBA? Not that crazy.
Come on bro you didn’t have to do me like that lol. I was just randomly reminiscing about his Rockets days and then the bubble. Every now and then, I catch an ex-Rocket player in action, prompting me to analyze whether we should’ve kept him or if I’m relieved he’s no longer on the team. I then dive into researching how long he’s been in the league and more. But yeah, no doubt, he’s richer and more athletic than me lol. Don’t we all wish we could be a professional with freakish talent or experience a growth spurt and utilize that towards the NBA or some professional sport? If I could go back and redo it all, I wish I had dedicated more time to the gym. It’s unreal how much time and effort these guys put into practice, even those selected as bench players in the NBA who barely play, let alone those in the D-League. And just being able to say you made it is amazing, and then it’s up to you how much craft, continuous practice, and effort you put in to get even better and stay in the sport (aka your workplace) until it’s all said and done to have a great career. It’s honestly crazy, considering the low percentage of people who actually get to play in the NBA and make millions.
You compare him to peers and not bystanders that are non athletes.... How you compare a goldfish to a giant Water Dinosaur.....
