It is simply not true that Porter pled guilty "basically to arguing in public."
I believe he’s doing this weird bit of mental gymnastics where he is assuming KPJ will successfully complete his “probation” and that this more severe charge will ultimately come off his record so it actually “never really happened” and he will only be guilty of the “arguing in public” part of the charges. Though I highly doubt any NBA team or the league itself will be handling KPJ as if the only thing he’s guilty of doing is arguing in public.
