We need a shooting guard ASAP. We need someone to go off like Simons did tonight when we are in trouble or when we have to kill their hopes of catching us. We can't spam Sengun post ups, drives every single time. It works but it's only 2 points.

 

Negatives: WHY WOULD WE PLAY A MIDGET LINEUP against one of the longer teams in the west?? That’s about it. Also Jerami Grant’s lucky three.

Positives: besides shooting Jalen played pretty much as well as he possibly could have, and it’s been a while since I’ve had a game to be pleased about. Alpi is a monster and is not just an all-star, but an all-nba player. Amen and Cam keep looking good.

But **** ME this was one of the mos frustrating games of the season

 

Seen it time and time again the Rockets do not win games when Jalen Green is the leading scorer. I think the Rockets Organization knows this…

 

Tonight's problem was purely defense. Jalen did great offensively, but our backcourt got completely torn up on D.

Our defensive "anchor" in Brooks got torched so hard that Ime benched him for Holiday hoping he'd be able to keep up with Simons, Portland just responded by setting picks and having Grant/Brogdon ISO one of the small Fred/Jalen/Holiday trio.

Ime couldn't find a strategy to disrupt their offense, and that was the game.

 

Horrible loss. FVV was garbage despite having decent numbers. How did he not foul Grant at the end.

But hey let's wait another 7 games at exactly 2 pm to make a move. Eh, don't know what move would do right now. That was stupidity. I thought Hollins was going to lose his mind. I don't even want to see how dejected our boi Calvin must be feeling. We've suffered enough to lose to Chauncey.

Fred's decision making throughout the 4th was so ****ing bad. He took half the clock working out how to pass out of a trap and then we would scramble for a bad shot.
