This team is just as pathetic as the teams from the last few years. The only difference is that the FO is actually trying to win this year. We’re just more expensive and just as pathetic.
It’s hard for us to win games without our full roster, we need bari and tari. We have a great record when everyone plays but everything falls apart as soon as we have guys out.
Because we don’t have much talent to begin with and one missing player in rotation is big enough for us to loose a game. We got up and coming center who is surrounded by none shooter and 2nd overall SG who only plays well 1 out 5 games and even the game he plays well is not enough to give us a win. Honeymoon phase of FVV and Dillon is over and they were never a players that wins you the game.
Agree but this was still a more than winnable game.... To me, the L is on FVV and Ime for not pushing the pace and looking like the team that was playing in a back to back. The Rockets were flirting with an 8 second back court violation on every damn possession for what seemed like the entire second half. A few sloppy passes hurt in a close game. I didn't see too much in the way of bad defense.... some, but not a ton. The Blazers just hit shots...
If you can't make 3's you will lose. This is the state of basketball in 2024. You can jump high, run fast, has sick handles, dunk on 9 footers but if you can't shoot from behind the arc you are going to hurt your team when you are on the floor.
True, but it was embarrassing to lose with a second to go in regulation followed by the collapse in OT. We need another big and a 3 /D guy. Boban, Landale and Oladipo plus Tate need to be traded.
Horrible loss to be sure, definitely one of the worst of the year, but it doesn't happen if they are healthy. Regardless, this was pretty unacceptable.
