He played really well, he stayed within the offense, passed the ball didn't try to do too much, I liked it other than some missed shots. Meanwhile others like Brooks and Jalen decided to chuck it from the cheapseats and stunk. DD
He didn’t play well, but tht’s ok. He is a really talented rookie. He and Amen need to continue to work together off the bench. They would be an absolutely sick second unit with Tari
Exactly! Assuming Tari returns to form eventually, those three will shred most second units in the NBA and one or two probably ends up closing a lot of games.
Amen's form looks better there...Still releasing the ball on the way up though instead of at his peak....
Too crowded. Tilman is too cheap to build a bigger practice facility. No wonder our players shoot so poorly.
Huh? Cam had worse fg% than even Jalen, and the worst +/- on the team, yet apparently had a good game? Seems legit.
need an update on this slow release news a bunch of folks on CF's kept claiming they see and read about online about Cam. It's always fun to see all this nonsense from folks who clearly don't know what they're talking about How's that working out for him? Asking for a friend
It’s much easier to play offense when you don’t have to play defense. It is not easy being a true 2-way player, part of what makes Kawhi so impressive. I think you can explain part of JG’s drop off this way. He is simply not used to working on defense, and that jumper is suffering. As Cam gets more assignments thrown on him on the defensive end, I imagine he will have a bit of a learning curve getting his offense going simultaneously.
It makes me so happy that he is precisely aware of what he needs to work on, and it seems like he is already making strides. Cam has the vibe of a guy that cares about literally nothing but basketball. More minutes please Ime.
The fact that this is happening organically makes it that much better. He hasn't just been gifted minutes on the floor just because. The minutes he has gotten, he has earned. Continuing to play damn well offensively and making strides defensively is just going to force Ime to play him consistently as we get into these last 40 games of the year. And eventually, he will break through as that possible full time guard next to FVV. That's exactly what Cam sees himself. No way does Cam see him has some bench player for his career. Rockets fans should be ecstatic that at 19 he's way ahead of where he should be at this level. his strength and ability to score at all 3 levels this young is just damn impressive
His first shot is a one motion shot, his second a two motion shot. Consistency is going to be the big thing he needs to develop with muscle memory coming through hours of repetition and by putting up thousands of shots.
