Jerrod Johnson can do what Slowik does.

Carolina - both Ravens games - Jets

just too many games where we didn’t put up points and next season we can’t have that

Got to wait and see who shakes out, I would love Kubiaks son - Klint if Slow leaves

Im okay with Slow if we add more weapons

This. Also a Shanahan offense uses the run to setup a lot of our action and our rush has been pretty inconsistent.

this was a game where you had to say eff it and just let Stroud play hero ball, like we used to rely on with DeSean

there were too many plays that took the ball out of Stroud's hands

Slowik was too stubborn and clever for his own good. That double reverse with Metchie/Hutchison?

Having CJ Stroud as your starting QB for one and seeing how closely they all work together.

Might be expecting too much given our roster this season.

Maybe we have 72mil to spend ..we need a more dynamic running back … and I’ll take Brown or Edwards to be opposite of Nico

Jordan is a decent TE but hardly gets used … Shultz can stay in a team friendly deal.

Slow just seems to outsmart himself alil too much this season at the wrong time

You literally don’t know that. Johnson has never been more than a QB coach.

not to be a dick but there’s literally nothing on his resume that says he can.

2 years as a diversity coach hire
2 years as a Colts gofer
1 year as a QB assistant in Minn
1 year as Texans QB coach.

Should the Texans look at Klint Kubiak? If Slowik leaves, who y'all got?

I would say yes he’d be an option.

Like I said, Slowik has been a revelation compared to BOB and Tim Kelley and the like, but he's just been OK overall. He's not a top OC yet. Which is fine because he's a rookie play caller. I don't think he's ready to be a HC but I'm not hating on the guy. He needs at least another year or two to learn and develop.

Ya I’m not willing to make that bet just yet. Think there is a lot more that goes into it.

I'm just not going to be too down on Slowik given the context of looking at the last several seasons vs this one. He made some mistakes but clearly is trying to implement a system. We need to improve the roster under the Demeco and Slowik philosophy in my opinion.
