under the assumption Claxton signs an extension. If not then take away the Round 1 Pick. Locking up Claxton would be incredible for the health of front court for the future. Gives Sengun some rest and gives us different looks / options to match up against the larger teams.
We don't know how long Eason is going to be out. Momster said not to worry it's not biggie then all of the sudden stops tweeting. Landale & Holiday Oladipo + Brooklyn pick for Tyus Jones. Gafford Next trade: +Reggie +Tate to Boston for a 2nd round pick. This is just to clear up playing time and sending Tate to a contender. He's earned it. Rotation: Alpi Jabari Brooks Green FVV Bench: Eason Jones Green Gafford Amen Cam

Why in the world would Brooklyn ever do this? You don't give up a 24 year old double double defensive beast for peanuts.
Not saying Nets will do this, but they are definitely looking to trade Claxton due to the emergence of Day'Ron Sharpe. Claxton also didn't improve this year like they thought he would.
Claxton's contract is up and we own their picks. If we really wanted to push a deal we could give them their first for this year and they could rebuild with their picks back. I would hardly consider control of their future "peanuts" especially since we traded Harden for said picks. It's a tough deal because we would need to negotiate with Claxton before giving up any draft capital because giving away a late-lotto pick for nothing obviously is not great. Ultimately, it's probably a tough sell to Claxton who probably is hoping to be a starter somewhere. We can offer him all of Jeff Green's minutes and maybe 3-5 from Sengun's but he may want more of a featured role.

Rockets playing large part in Raptors outcome with Pascal Siakam Fischer explained that VanVleet's process of leaving the Raps for a hefty deal the Rockets could be Siakam's same thought process, if he isn't traded. "The driving factor there is where the money is at. The biggest dollar figure that’s gonna be on the table is what he’s gonna take this summer, just like what Fred did with Houston. https://spacecityscoop.com/posts/rockets-playing-large-part-in-raptors-outcome-with-pascal-siakam
I'm not trolling. That dude is a real talent. I'm serious about that deal. You need guys who can ACTUALLY score in multiple ways and White is going to be an All Star and a major impact player for years to come. He literally outplayed both Jalen and Amen.
Well, we all have crazy trade ideas. Sometimes we look back and say they thought I was crazy, now they all think like me. I've been down this road before.
Honestly, we could resolve most of our roster issues by trading with the Jazz, if we were willing to spend a huge number of assets to do it. All-Star perimeter scoring option to play alongside Sengun for, hopefully, the next 6-7 years? Jabari for Lauri. (Would hate to see Jabari go, but realistically Ainge would not accept anything less.) Better shooting guard play? Collin Sexton. Backup big? Olynyk. One problem is that Utah has been on a helluva run lately and may actually pass us in the standings during our current road trip. They might not be feeling like sellers anymore.
