I hope someone has the long highlights. I didn't give it my full attention because of the other game.
i was watching both games lol. both exhilarating. what's crazy is I didnt doubt the Rockets were going to win this game.
Depending on where you live in Houston its about an hour to drive to the game anyway, so its hard for Houstonians as well lol.
Texans on the TV, Rockets on the iPad! I agree. Rockets were just in control all night. It felt like the opposite of old Rockets games - Bucks would go on a few runs to get to 10 (normally with a lot of fouls), and Rockets would just knock down a big shot or two to get back to 13-15. Call and collected game, even by the bench rookies. Very impressive.
This old incarnation of Jeff Green reminds me a lot of Jet. Not Jason Terry or Kenny Smith, but Jet the Cowboy Bebop character. Dunno why
Just watched the second half on delay and spent more time fast forwarding through replay reviews and FTs than watching basketball. Basically I missed the game - we win?
I was 100% focused on the Texans tonight but seeing that we won against the Bucks while missing Tari and Dillon is a nice cherry on top!
i expected the rockets to win. the bucks have an inflated record because of their easy schedule. dame is probably the worst defender in the league and its not an exaggeration.
My player of the game tonight is Jabari Smith. He had a double double on great efficiency but more importantly he played backup center and that enabled Rox to build a lead in the 1st half. With him being able to play backup C we have eliminated the need for Jock Scrubdale to even step on the court and we have temporarily addressed our biggest weakness till a good backup C option shows up. Once Tari and Brooks come back we will prob see Jabari transition into the starting PF/Backup C role fully and then Jeff Green will be the backup PF.
4 wins away from last year’s total of 22 wins, 34 games into the season. We could go 4-3 in the next 7 games and we would reach last year’s win total and still be 22-19 at the half season mark.
