Doesn't look like the G-League will have a number one pick this year either. Ron Holland isn't even looking like a lotto pick and Matas has been very underwhelming but somehow both are still projected in the top 10. That said I think Jalen would have been FAAAR better off if Ime was his rookie year coach rather than being sabotaged by Silas for 2 seasons.

For the other guys he mentioned

It's way too early to tell with Scoot but it's a really rough start.

Dyson Daniels can't shoot right now but he's young and putting up some excellent defensive numbers. He could develop into a solid role player and he's playing a lot for a winning team.

Marjon Beauchamp was a late first but he's also playing a lot for a winning team and shooting the ball really well.

Jaden Hardy wait and see....he's been a zero so far but almost put up a triple double last game and seems to be playing more solid lately in rotational mintues.

Kuminga seems like he has a solid future in the league if he can find some consistency with his shot

If Sengun is given a max, how much can the team pay Jalen? Moving Jalen before the deadline would be too aggressive, it is not like we have to pay a bunch of people this off season and need to create space, so I dont understand what the rush is. If Amen or Cam end up being max worthy FVV will roll off the books by that time too. We have time to make a decision.

 

Jalen doesn't suck but he is a long way away from being a GOOD NBA player and is more aligning with a 6 man role than starter.

Green isn't going anywhere until after next season, and Udoka will play him accordingly game by game as he has done all others outside of their big $ free agent signings, they got carte Blanche status

Btw, f*ck Gilbert Arenas. I love Jalen, but Arenas is wrong and he's injecting Green with false shaky confidence. Objectively, Brunson and Randle is worth more than Jalen Green at this moment in time. If it were offered right now, Stone and Ime would be accepting the deal and sending FVV+picks elsewhere for an elite pick or a top 5 SG. Jalen Brunson alone can net 3 first round picks right now. Jalen Green cannot get you that right now.

I've watched clips of his show and he is by far the dumbest analyst on his own show. You can accept that from a Charles Barkley or a Stephen A Smith because those guys are there to entertain you. Arenas is not an entertainer so what is he when he's not telling stories about how he messed up his own career?

This dude used his platform to trash the greatest player in Rockets franchise history and it wasn't about being right. It was purely about marketing his own services and stealing clients from Hakeem. Hate to even see Arenas' name on this board. That was such an unprovoked lowest of the lows move. Literally a "90% off for the same thing!" advertisement he did on his platform. What is Gilbert Arenas going to teach anyone? His only skill was being quick and the moment that disappeared, so did he.
