Said he hasn't made a decision. Guessing he'd be a mid-3rd to 4th round pick right now but could be a 1st if he comes back and stays healthy.
I would imagine he might do well in NIL next season after the season he just had. I wonder how those solicitations play into the call to go pro.
Sanders had a great season and would probably be the 2nd TE taken next spring. Maybe the 3rd. Not sure if the risk of injury or regression is worth the potential gain.
They exceeded my expectations this season. Next season is when I will have expectations assuming we get some receivers to replace our current production. The offensive line and running game should be stellar. Defense should be improved overall though I doubt we will be as good against the run.
This should help… https://longhornswire.usatoday.com/...24-season-college-defensive-tackle-nfl-draft/
I think he declares , he can’t risk getting hurt again in college plus how long will his rehab take and will Baxter develop to the lead back ?
Yep given his small injuries this past season, be best for him to declare. AD staying would be God send, but also can't blame him if he declares either. This doesn't have the 2018 Rockets vibe where everything seemed lined up for us to win the whole thing, but it was pretty close. Jordan Whittington staying, Sweat and Murphy's development, AD transferring in, last year in the Big 12, and also the National game being played in Houston all would have made it an amazing story. Regardless, I am still happy with the season and we haven't had this much excitement in a while.
What does our receiving pipeline look like? Losing X, AD, Whittington and Sanders feels like a decimation.
Receiver from UH J. Cook DeAndre Moore Jr. Ryan Niblett Ryan Wingo and a few more incoming freshmen as well. Except for the UH Transfer, it'll be pretty much all sophomores and freshmen. I'd assume we'd look into the portal for one more wide receiver.
IT is reporting Liberty WR CJ Daniels and USC’s Dorian Singer will be in the mix. Don’t know anything about either. Also Texas is apparently heavy favorites to land UH DL Ja’Maree Caldwell.
