For Chicago and Atlanta there are basketball circumstances to consider--they have been uncompetitive with no top 5 players for a long time. Same issue for GS before their recent success. I'm just talking all else being equal here. Obviously the quality of the team matters. Dame isn't complaining about being sent to Milwaukee for instance.
I live in the Bay and I can tell you that no one wants to come to the Bay. High tax’s, VC money has dried up which was a major draw for KD, and real estate is still insane so your money doesn’t go that far. Houston is a tier below LA, New York, and Miami but it’s not that far off as you would think.
The Hawks were good for several years in the last decade and the Bulls just won 46 games in 21-22. If you have a top 5 player then location isn't as important and it's why Dame is ok with Milwaukee. If all things are equal Houston is without a doubt a top 5-10 city.
This is way out of left field but here goes. Chicago out: Lonzo, Drummond Chicago in: Jock, Oladipo, 4 2nds Chicago Outlook: The Bulls owner is notoriously cheap. All signs are a full blow up. They shed 3mill this year, as well as being able to opt out of jocks contract at end of year, clearing another 20m next year and giving up on the injured Lonzo. Gain some 2nd rd picks for their troubles and ,likely head into a full rebuild. Houston out: Jock, Oladipo, 4 2nds Houston in: Lonzo, Drummond Houston Outlook: We need a backup big and Drummond fits that need and would be an upgrade over Jock. We also cash in what little value Oladipos expiring contract has paired with Jocks non-guarenteed contract by taking a flyer on an oft-injured ball handler. A bit of a risk/reward play as we can afford to let him sit on our bench. His 20m expiring the following year also fits our timeline better if he is completely washed.
Drummond would be a great guy to have on the roster. Being able to kind of alternate between him and Jeff Green depending on the matchup would be a great situation to be in. Also just having a little more center depth in general because right now we're one injury away from seeing Jock Landale 25 minutes a night. Adding onto the Bulls discussion--what sweeteners from Chicago, if any, would it take for y'all to send Jalen over for Coby White? White is having himself a bit of a breakout season, better defense, better shooting, better passing. He does not have anywhere near Jalen's upside, but he is only 23, and his skillset seems like it would fit very well alongside Sengun. He is already locked up on a good contract, whereas Jalen is about to get paid. Just something I was thinking about.
I'd pass. Kuzma is still just a high volume scorer. He's not getting 19 shots per game here, only Sengun takes more than 15. He's neither a good defender nor spot up shooter. And I certainly wouldn't want him for multiple firsts.
Tate/Holiday/protected Top 4 2024 pick for expiring scrubs/Boston protected 2025 FRP/protected 2027 FRP.
Pass, he has no role on our team. He would just be taking away more shots from Jabari and Sengun. Good player, bad fit.
Hell no. Anyone we trade for needs to play good defense. That's what makes Bridges so valuable to a team like us.

Please stop trying to make Malcom Brogdon happen He makes no sense for us whatsoever. Not an impact player, wrong side of 30, plays a position where we already have depth.
On the court none. BUT off. Olynyk has no value after the last game of this season for the Jazz. Landale’s contract is not guaranteed after this year. So he could help a team clean up a bad contract. Tate is rotation worthy for most teams in the league and has trade value because he has a value contract. I think the Jazz could do better.
