Worthy goal! My alcohol consumption is minimal and will probably go down even more this year, so I'm not doing this particular challenge, but I wish you well!
I’ve got gigs to play in January and since we sing songs about drinking it might be too hypocritical to not drink at all but am Planning on cutting back. Im traveling now visiting family but when I get back to the US next week plan on going Vegan for a month. My last physical, just before Thanksgiving, showed my cholesterol is really high and holiday, family and travel dining it’s probably gotten much higher. Want to take that down without having to take medication.
Same....in fact I have some beers in the fridge that probably need to be poured down the drain due to how long they've been in the beverage drawer....
I am with you. After my mom’s continued hospitalization from ultimately complications of alcoholism, I am leaning toward going sober for the rest of my life.
Cheering you on. Started Dry January six years ago and haven’t had an adult beverage since then. Enjoy.
this is my hope. Day 3 and feeling great, let’s keep it going! Honestly part of why I wanted to do this was to see if I have a dependency, but I’m pleased to say so far anyway, I haven’t craved anything, and I feel better in the morning. I was drinking multiple glasses of whiskey pretty much every evening after work and even more on the weekends, time for a change.
