What better way to promote democracy than to ban it! Brilliant tactic libs! No way this holds up on appeal. Because the ruling has no basis in law or fact. Sorry.

Many people support Trump because they want a return to democracy. Unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats and captured politicians and media currently run the country. There is nothing democratic about that. Trying to ban a popular candidate is the opposite of democracy. Most liberals simply lack the intelligence to piece this together. I am most likely the smartest poster on this BBS. The absolute tippy top. Success at every turn, and total dominance on each and every standardized test I've ever taken. You on the other hand, are completely unimpressive.

    GOOD DAY

"unelected politicians are currently running the country" lololol. How do you expect to be taken seriously anywhere. Imagine still claiming the election was stolen after the indictments were unsealed proving that trump knew the election was NOT stolen from the beginning. Your cult leader wanted to send the US marshalls to voting centers around the country and seize legal ballots and you dipshits talk about democracy LOL.

I will never understand how rich people like yourself get brainwashed into being a MAGAT. Politics destroys peoples brains and any rational they hold.

Tonight's move just confirms that all of the efforts to impeach, indict, defame, and bankrupt Trump are all done to simply keep him from running. The Colorado effort is just the least transparent attempt at the same end game.

Our judicial system is being hijacked and turned into a political weapon. Unreal.

Youre still crying about the 2020 election and spinning conspiracies about how it was stolen and then you claim youre the smartest person on the forums. Im literally laughing out loud. Thank you for the laugh. Anyone whos a grown adult still clinging onto the 2020 election stolen conspiracies is a sad loser who needs counseling.

You remind me of a mentally r****ded patient in the mental ward trying convince the doctor he doesnt need his meds no more.

Can SCOTUS overturn state election laws? Gerrymandering is wrong, but it’s up to the state - SCOTUS.

    hypocrisy fully expected

Colorado supreme court asked the Supreme court to chime in. This decision will be overturned probably 9-0 so its funny watching MAGAts freak out in the mean time. Anything that hurts their cult leader makes them have a breakdown.

This proves absolutely nothing. There are Republicans who oppose Trump, just like there are Democrats who oppose Biden. There are also Republicans who are captured by the DC machine -- see Adam Kinzinger, Liz Cheney, Chris Christie.

It was 4 liberal Colorado justices who voted to abuse democracy and keep Trump off the Colorado ballot.

So the requirement in the Constitution that candidates must be a certain age removes candidates from the ballot. A 20 year old would be removed from the ballot.

A candidate that acted against the Constitution while holding office also doesn't fulfill the constitutional requirements.

That was the argument put forward and worked in Colorado. We don't know if it will hold up, but if a candidate doesn't meet the requirements for being on the ballot, they should be removed.

Do you beleive a 19 year old candidate is allowed under the constitution to run for President?

Trumps cybersecurity chief, homeland security chief, attorney general, CIA head, NSA head all under Trump swore that they found no widespread fraud and that Trumps fraud claims were untethered from the truth. I guess every republican with a brain is a RINO according to you MAGAT turds. At some point in your life you'll realize youre in a cult and youre brainwashed as ****.

Its just blows my mind how politics can literally destroy someones brain. How can you be rich and dumber than a bag rocks. Insane. If you were a CEO running a company and every single one of your executives throws you under the bus you would never have be taken seriousy anywhere.

You have to be really brainwashed to believe this.....

“I’m being indicted for YOU. Never forget: Our enemies want to take away my freedom because I will never let them take away your freedom.” — President Trump in Waterloo, Iowa

Nope, you're being indicted because you are an insurrectionist, a traitor, and a lying con who committed felonies you POS in a suit and a red hat.

From the beginning, the nature of the office of the presidency, and how and why it was created, was challenged by the machinations of the Donald from the very first day he took office.

The amendment has always been regarded as vague, with respect to the responsibilities and obligations the president has towards the enforcement of national and or federal laws.

To me, the presidency has functioned essentially as a steward of one the greatest hallmarks of our nation...the laws which govern and tether each of us together...albeit tenuously at times.

No one holding the office is obligated to do anything other than stand watch over the laws which he (or, potentially, she) is charged with defending and protecting...and when the time comes, to hand that responsibility with dignity to the next caretaker.

If there remains a vestige of self-efficacy within any place in state or local government, it is the office of the presidency.

And the Donald decided, along with a bunch of other narrow-minded, shiftless, buffoonish churls in tow, to take one big humongous crap on all of that because he didn't get his way.

He puts toddlers pitching a fit in a sandbox on the playground to shame.

Along with all the other toddlers looking to keep up with, if not outdo him.

The last thing the Donald has any right to is that office that he decided to use as a commode for four years...and feels like he had any right to complain about the rest of us having and needing to come in behind his orange @$$ and flush it.

If this was all simply about the Donald being a piece of $h!t, it still wouldn't make any sense to let him run for President, given what we know about how he would conduct himself now...but we might still have been better off finding out if there's enough sanity left in the electorate to keep him out of there.

But the Donald has irreconcilably proven that the last thing he wants to do is be the President of the United States.

What he wants is what he always wants...whatever the hell it it he wants, whenever it is he wants it, and whoever the hell he can get to give it to him.

And the last thing any of us should be doing is finding some way to accommodate him...
