I have to say it but Del Harris isn't a good coach. I mean what the hell with it that they let Pau @shole get easy buckets? I know hte team suck but at least double the guy for peace sake. Oh well.

LOL but Pau @sshole won a lost cause. No medal for him. Remember, Yao also scored +40 points with scrubs when he use to play against teh Chinese Players so it's no big deal here.

from the link I found these numbers:

Yao: 31.3min. 9.7reb 1.3asi 21.8pt
Pau: 31.7min. 7.3reb 1.0asi 20.0pt

Yao has better numbers than Pau in every categary in less min. played.

First time I see Yi made some baskets.

Yao had one nasty dunk.

Gasol was simply automatic around the basket, very smooth.

The chinese team simply just suck.

but I do like the idea of and Yao and Yi front line in 2008.

Hopefully Francis would be willing to play for the CNT at that time.

i just watched women bronze medal game between Brazil n Russia. Men, those women hustle harder than those chinese men basketball players.... When i watched China vs Spain this noon, the whole chinese team looked un-interest... no hustle no aggressive n yao are settin too many high picks he should be at the low post destroyin the whinin gasol. But then again a few possesions, yao got position but the chinese guards just ignored him.... sound so familiar.....

The only bright spot is that Spain got the big lead in 2nd qt
when Gasol only played 2 min.

Gasol outplayed the whole Chinese frontline, that is a fact.

Right now Gasol is a better basketball player than Yao in international competition. There is no shame in admitting it. Gasol completely outplayed Duncan the other day too. He is just an excellent player (and whiner ).

I hope Yao stop making excuses and continue improving himself. He is still young and has long way to go before he truly become a dominate player. He is getting there, but others are improving too.
