Seems like it’s Willie’s. Remember when he bamboozled Dana? DH seemed to get bamboozled a lot, though.

Don't care about longevity. They come. And they go. What's important is that we win during the short period they coach. That brings the money. And that brings the talent. The fly wheel keeps feeding itself once you cast ans have someone good doin the fihshin.

Yes, but also, holy **** it would be nice to have someone who just buys in and wants to be there who is also really good at his job. I was hoping Dana was that…I think I got half of that right. Wish he cared more, because I think he’s capable of way more than what we just saw

I also think people are forgetting how bad Tulane was when he got there too. They Rice look like a solid program I don't think it would take as long for UH to be rebuild.

It Fritz brings Michael Pratt with him would that change anyones mind.

Speaking of QB's its been said Cam Ward had multiple million dollar NIL Deals as a grad transfer. He committed to Oregon today.

Yeah there's no way Fritz survives the same 5-6 year run he had at Tulane here.

Didn't Tulane get totally destroyed by a hurricane one year where they had to play all away games too?

Dave Campbell says it's official. Fritz is the guy. Couldn't even wait until halftime, lol.

Odom might have coached himself right out of consideration today. UNLV was totally unprepared in the championship game. Don't love the Fritz hire if I'm being honest, but he's clearly a good coach.

Ideally what you want is Fritz to right the ship and have a young someone (OC/DC) ready to go when he retires in 5-8 years

Yall could have done so much worse with this hire

Having just watched the SMU at Tulane game I hope Fritz stays in Tulane. Terrible performance by Tulane in all phases except for the first 10 seconds of the game.

Surely we can do better. I guess we will know shortly if he is coming here. If so I hope the performance against SMU is not a precursor of what he will do here.

Judging things off of one game is not right

Are you sure UH can do better?

    2 points back at you:

    1. I have previously stated that I have not been impressed with anyone on the short list.
    2. Why do you think UH cannot do better? If it was your decision who would you hire? Do you think Fritz is the best man for the job?

I think we can do better. Not my money or my decision. I think they better get this decision right. The last 2 decisions by the same set of decision makers have left UH in a state of mediocrity for the last 7 years and as current bottom feeders in the BIG 12.

I think the reports clearly have an impact. You could see it in the UNLV game too. It's disingenuous for a coach to say that he wasn't distracted, or that his team wasn't sidetracked by all of the media reports.

Fritz pulled a Tom Herman. Going to leave his Ford Taurus at the New Orleans Airport on his way out.

What do you know other teams lay eggs too when they hear their coach is leaving.
